Wits End combines modern amenities with a traditional look, and is ideal for couples wishing to explore Cornwall from a self catering base. Close to both the north and south coasts, this property is located in a small village with stunning views.
The one-bedroom 'upside-down' cottage has a small patio and a first floor deck ideal for that alfresco meal. It has a well equipped kitchen with views over the surrounding countryside. With an upside-down layout, Wits End has an open plan hall and stairs to the kitchen and living area, with a door on to the balcony. Downstairs is a double bedroom and large shower room. Outside, there is a small garden and car space.
Lanhydrock House, owned by the National Trust, is a 15 minute drive, and Lanhydrock Golf Club is also 10 minutes away. Pencarrow House is just up the road towards Wadebridge, and does good 'pick-your-own' soft fruit in season. Bodmin Steam Railway is a ten minute walk away, and can be boarded at Boscarne. Just a little further up the Camel Trail is The Borough Arms, which is the closest pub, and serves food all day.
Linen, heating, barbecue included. Sorry, no smoking and no pets.
