This pretty stone holiday cottage sits in a peaceful position on a rise a few hundred yards up a private road and has a dramatic panoramic view over the glen to Schiehallion. Writes one recent guest 'We never had such a well equipped cottage before! We found it delightful and had a lovely time. The view from the bed of Schiehallion has you waking up as in a film'. The hills rise up behind the cottage to the heather moorland above, so you can go for walks straight from the cottage. The garden is enclosed and there are roses and clematis climbing the walls of the cottage. You can walk to the village from here (about a mile), mostly off road.
The huge studio-style living room, measuring 10 metres by 7 metres, has five large windows on the views. The original wooden floor is complemented by attractive rugs and the windows have original shutters. A king size four-poster bed graces one end of the room, with dressing table and chest of drawers/window seat.
The cottage is ideal for a couple and/or two single people. Wildlife such as red squirrels and deer are often seen around the house.
