Much-loved Vista Cottage enjoys unrivalled views across the small harbour, mud flats and salt marshes at Brancaster Staithe, in an area that is a haven for wildlife and small boats. The Norfolk Coastal Path runs along the bottom of the long private garden that runs right down to the marsh and the North Sea. The cottage offers spacious and well-equipped accommodation.
Writes Bryn Frank in The Good Holiday Cottage Guide, 'In Vista you can almost reach out and touch one of the most beautiful coastlines in Britain. It's extraordinary. You can walk down the cottage gardens right on to the salt marshes and join the coastal path or (with your wellies on!) make your way indirectly towards the water'.
Recent visitors have loved the warm and inviting 'family kitchen', the cosy sitting room and, of course, the views. The cottage is warm and well equipped. The open fire in the sitting room has been retained - a huge selling point in itself. The house has been sympathetically restored in traditional fashion, taking advantage of the original features where possible, such as the stone flags in the kitchen.
Vista is within walking distance of local amenities and has off-road parking. There are two good pubs nearby.
