Just a few minutes from Newgale beach is The Red Hen House, a superb barn conversion in a secret valley conservation area, with south-facing garden and a nearby trout lake. Valley Cottage, near Tenby, lies within an acre of ground overlooking the ‘secret waterway’ of the Haven at Milford. It sleeps 5 and pets are welcome. Bedw Cottage, in 18 acres, is off the tourist trail in a remote alpine-like valley. It sleeps 4 in two bedrooms. At Abersoch on the Llyn Peninsula is The House at Abersoch with panoramic views across Cardigan Bay towards Snowdon. There are two properties at Betws Hall, near Newtown and Welshpool; ideal for family reunions, catering by arrangement. For a dramatic coastal location there is Craig Yr Awel on Whitesands Bay, just a few yards above the beach. It has four en-suite bedrooms and an open fire. Hendy is a traditional Welsh cottage just for two in the Snowdonia National Park, only five minutes from a sand and pebble beach.
