In a tranquil rural setting on the banks of the River Thames, at the end of a long private drive, the four Old Mill Cottages are on a working sheep farm. Four and a half miles south of Cirencester, 'capital of the Cotswolds', they are surrounded by 100 acres of farmland with splendid views and footpaths that include the recently created Thames footpath. This leads along the Thames and joins up with the Cotswold Water Park. The cottages are within easy reach of several of the most famous Cotswold villages, as well as Bath, Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxford and Stonehenge.
Thames Cottage overlooks the river. It has French windows opening on to a balcony with table and chairs, giving glorious views of the Thames and the countryside. The ground floor consists of an entrance lobby opening into a fitted kitchen with electric and microwave cookers, fridge freezer and dishwasher. There is a serving hatch to dining room. The sitting room has TV, DVD player and large windows opening on to the river balcony.
There's a downstairs bedroom with double bed and an adjoining shower/bathroom. Upstairs is the main galleried bedroom, again overlooking the river. It has a 5′ double bed and a walk-in wardrobe. The third bedroom has two single beds. The fourth bedroom has one single bed. There's a family bathroom with over-bath shower. A cot is also available.
