Approached from the hamlet of Uwchmynydd, up a track leading through farmland, you arrive at Talcen Foel cottage. This hillside croft cottage really is 'off the beaten track (not suitable for posh cars!), hidden away at the base of Anelog mountain, with breathtaking sea and mountain views. On a clear day you can even see the Wicklow mountains in Ireland. It is an Ideal retreat for honeymooners, walkers, birdwatchers, and the stressed-out.

There's direct access from your front gate to the Lleyn Coastal path, which takes you to Whistling Sands and beyond one way and to Bardsey Island viewpoint and Aberdaron Bay the other. There is a picnic table for outside dining.

There's a  double room with sea views, and one twin-bedded room with views towards Anelog, plus a galleried crog-loft den above accessed by wooden ladder that is an ideal quiet reading and relaxation. Coastal and mountain views and superb western sunsets can be viewed through windows on three sides, and a back door leads out to a small patio with garden furniture.

The cottage is only ten minutes from Aberdaron village, with local shops/bars/cafes and lovely long safe sandy beach for swimming and sailing.
