Cosy traditional cottages in Southwold, especially when they incorporate original features and modern facilities and comforts, are doubly sought-after. At One Ash you are at the centre of this highly desirable town, possibly the most visited place on the Suffolk coast after Aldeburgh.

Specifically, the cottage sleeps 9, and there is even (unusually for such a town centre location) a most appealing walled back garden. There's an open inglenook fireplace.

We have had reader-recommendations of this deceptively very spacious cottage, but have not yet seen it for ourselves.
