Lavenham

Pound Cottage is in the picturesque Medieval village of Lavenham. The holiday cottage, which dates back to the 16th century, has two bedrooms, one double and one twin, a modern, spacious bathroom and fully equipped kitchen, a wood burning stove in the cosy sitting room and central heating throughout. There is a pretty patio garden with BBQ facilities.

The cottage has a widescreen TV with DVD. Bikes are provided for guests, as are a cot and highchair.

The official South Suffolk cycle route goes through Lavenham and there is a lovely walk along the disused railway line to historic Long Melford.

There are many interesting old-fashioned shops in Lavenham and excellent restaurants including The Swan and The Great House.
