The Old Rectory Cottages
'The Suffolk-Norfolk border is one of East Anglia's best kept secrets,' writes the editor of The Good Holiday Cottage Guide, 'and these superbly converted properties, effectively part of a fine Victorian rectory, make a stylish base.' The low-lying meadows of the Waveney Valley are well positioned for trips to the Suffolk coast at, say, Southwold, and to Norwich.
Each sleeping 2, the four properties are delightful in themselves, pristine and comfortable, with a number of original features retained.
Specifically, they are The Butler's Pantry, The Old Pump House, Sam's Stable and The Old Coach House. Each has a wood-burning stove - such an asset during autumn and winter bookings - and a 'wet room'. The Old Pump House has a 'zip link' six foot double that can also serve as twins.
Well behaved dogs are welcome.
