Southwold
Fisherman's Cottage

In recent years the demand for self catering on the Suffolk coast
has increased dramatically, but pretty holiday cottages in Southwold
are picture-postcard stuff.
One charming pink-washed 19th century Fisherman's Cottage, sleeping
4. It is ideally located, close to the beach, pubs, shops and
Pier.
The front door opens into a spacious open-plan living room with
comfortable seating, flat screen TV and a separate video recorder.
Beyond is a good sized dining area with a gate-legged dining table
and chairs offering plenty of space to seat four comfortably.
A door leads into a compact, well-equipped kitchen, beyond which
is the bathroom, with full-size bath with shower over. From the
kitchen a stable-door leads into a secluded, sunny courtyard with
outdoor table and chairs. In the corner a shed can house bikes,
push chair etc.
Upstairs the south-facing front bedroom is light and airy and
overlooks St James Green and out to sea. There are twin beds and
plenty of cupboard space. The back bedroom, which affords an imposing
view of the Lighthouse, has a double bed and cupboard space.
