Near Aldeburgh/Snape

Cissy's Cottage

This is a cosy little 17th century red brick building attached to two small brick barns and a small rambling Regency house. With many lovingly preserved original features, it stands on the road linking the A12 and famous Aldeburgh, close to Snape and The Snape Maltings. It’s surrounded by farmland and is next to a stunning private nature reserve which you can walk straight into.

The entrance is though an old cobbled courtyard past the original working water pump. The cosy dining area leads off the small hall with an open winding staircase leading up to the twin bedroom. The romantic master double bedroom is accessed through the twin bedroom.

There is a charming little wooden panelled sitting room with an original bake oven hidden behind one panel next to the working antique cooking range – not needed for cooking on, but lovely to use as a fireplace.

Well behaved pets are welcome
