Small and family run Broomhill Manor Country Estate consists of 35 acres of grounds, 17 beautifully appointed cottages and a wing of the Georgian Manor House. They are furnished and equipped to a high standard (ETC Four Stars) and are laid out in small courtyards forming a village-like atmosphere, free of vehicles. They vary in size from a one bedroomed cottage sleeping two, up to the three bedroom, which sleeps six and has two bathrooms.
The 9 acre gardens are a feature of the estate, winning prizes and providing colourful flower beds and cascading hanging baskets to create an almost Mediterranean atmosphere. There are secluded thatched summerhouses, garden furniture and an outdoor pool (heated between early June and late September) with sun terrace. There is a floodlit tennis court, archery, clay shooting and the estate's own riding stables, with horses for all sizes and experience, even down to miniature Shetlands for the youngsters.
In the luxurious indoor leisure building is another pool heated to over 85 degrees all year, together with a Jacuzzi, solarium, sauna and gymnasium. Overlooking the indoor pool is a lounge bar with full-size snooker table. Children have a choice of two outdoor play areas with swings, forts, Wendy houses and adventure equipment, plus a games room with pool and table tennis, etc.
We are only a mile from glorious sandy beaches and some of Cornwall's most dramatic coastal scenery. Golfers are spoilt for choice - we overlook Bude golf course, with several other courses in easy reach, and a nine hole course and driving range only a few minutes away.
Open all year. High chairs, cots, baby listeners and baby-sitting available. Well behaved dogs by arrangement. Weekend and mid-week short breaks available in Spring and Autumn.
