Bordering a peaceful and secluded lawned courtyard garden, Creekside and Seaways form part of the 200 year old building known as Gullrock. Originally built as a 'Pilchard Palace' for processing the fish caught during the early 19th century, it nestles at the foot of the valley in this bygone fishing hamlet.
The beach, just 100 yards from Gullrock, is ideal for safe bathing. All the private grounds of Gullrock, including the courtyard, the car park, the barn, the pathways and the river lawn, bordered by the lane on one side and the stream on the other, are available for the use of all residents.
Occupying the single storey arm of Gullrock, Seaways is entered off the courtyard into the kitchen-diner. It is the most spacious in Gullrock, providing generously for six people in 1 double and 2 twin bedded rooms.
Seaways has been individually decorated and furnished as a proper home, combining modern standards with good old fashioned comforts. There are deep window-sills in the stone and cob walls and some period furnishings, mingling old style charm and new style convenience in homely harmony. You can enjoy magnificent scenery and wildlife when you go out, and be sure of your comforts when you come home to Seaways.
The cottage is fully-equipped, and features a full HD TV with Freeview HD recorder and Blu-Ray, a computer with HD monitor and broadband internet, a dishwasher and washing machine, night storage heating and parking.
Pets with responsible owners are welcome.
