Nestling under the west side of Pen y Fan in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park, Carno is set in five acres of grounds with direct access into the park. The sympathetically renovated and restored farmhouse and barn date from 1642. The farmhouse features oak beams and an inglenook fireplace with stove, whilst the barn has a beautiful conservatory with outstanding views across the gardens to the Craig Cerrig Gleisiad and is suitable for disabled guests.
Both properties have 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fitted kitchen, aa comfortably and tastefully furnished lounge/diner with a mixture of antique and reproduction furniture, and full central heating. Equipment includes TV, music centre, classical record/disc collection, videos, books, games, freezer/fridge, microwave oven, dishwasher, garden furniture, BBQ. All linen provided. Cot and highchair are available and there is a toddler play/activity area as well as a clock golf course. Well behaved pets are welcome. There is a heated indoor pool available for guests' use. Costs between £290 to £490 per week.
