Close to Bamburgh, with easy access to not-to-be-missed Holy Island, Lavender is a five minute walk from the centre of Seahouses and its famous harbour. A conversion to a very high specification of one of the original farm buildings, it's one of those holiday cottages that makes a super base for exploring Northumberland's fabulous sandy beaches and castles.

As you turn right out of the enclave of impressive cottage conversions and then right again you're close to the coast road that links Seahouses and Bamburgh. From that road there are views towards the Farne Islands: seal-watching trips to the islands operate from Seahouses.'

Neat and well tended gardens (one enclosed) on two sides of the cottage, and french doors lead to a patio with furniture on which guests can enjoy breakfast or an evening drink. There is a useful extra sitting room.
