There are seven apartments, sleeping from 4 to 6. Can sleep 35 in total. No pets. Cost: about £375 to £1035 per week. Short breaks available: you do not have to book a complete week.
Seahouses is a happy mixture of family resort and working fishing port. Five of the seven Farne House self catering apartments overlook the harbour – always ‘something going on’ – and have views out to sea. The apartments are comfortable, cosy and uncluttered. Five of the seven have wide sea views. To take best advantage of the stunning panorama, the living areas are located on the upper floors.

There's full central heating throughout and parking (a luxury in the heart of Seahouses) for eight to ten cars. There’s a reliably warm indoor swimming pool and sauna (open 24 hours a day, all year round) with sun lounge.
The seven apartments consist of Crag End (sleeping 4), Farne Haven (6), Gull's Crest (4), Harbour Heights (5), Puffin Crag (6) Seals Bay (4), Water's Edge (6).
Farne House and Akeld, situated on the edge of the Cheviots, are under the same ownership, and can make an excellent two-base holiday.
Although you are on the coast, there’s easy access to much of the county. Bamburgh is an enticing three mile walk along the water’s edge, and a trip across the causeway to Holy Island at low tide is a not-to-be-missed delight.
