Danby and Goathland Cottages

Above the pretty riverside village of Ruswarp sits an enclave of stone-built, handsomely tiled cottages. Most are holiday homes, but private and nicely self-contained with a children's play area and attractive field and woodland surroundings. Weekend breaks Exposed beams Quiet, but not isolated Danby and Goathland are adjacent and are similar inside, with spacious sitting rooms and well fitted kitchens. Danby sleeps 6 in two doubles and a bunk bedded room, Goathland sleeps 5 in a double, a twin and a single. Cost: about £270 to £500. Out of season weekend breaks. (Not suitable for pets).
