| Craven Ridge is a superb, luxurious holiday cottage, located in an acre of lawned gardens in a quiet farming backwater just outside of Giggleswick, yet only a five minute drive from the market town of Settle. The cottage comfortably sleeps 8 and has uninterrupted views across to Ingleborough.
The property is a converted barn dating back to the 18th century, and still has many of the original timbers, along with double glazed windows and central heating. The property also has its own private well. There is an ample supply of bedclothes, duvets, towels, linen, pillows, crockery, cutlery and pans etc. Heating and lighting is provided at no extra cost. Modern facilities including internet access and attached drying room plus sauna/steam room.
The accommodation comprises:
An exceptionally spacious lounge with a large open fireplace and solid fuel heater. There is a large tv, video and dvd player and an ample supply of videos and dvds to choose from. There are also board games and a range of outdoor games available. There is a dining area in a corner of the lounge. Fully fitted kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and a full range of units and worktops. Sauna/steam room with double jacuzzi bath, w.c. and wash hand basin. Separate downstairs toilet and wash-hand basin.
The master bedroom contains a double bed, set of drawers, 2 bedside cabinets, mirror, tv and video player. There are 2 velux roof windows. There are two further double bedrooms and a bedroom with two single beds. The upstairs bathroom has a bath, wash hand basin, shower and w.c. The landing is spacious and has an ample supply of storage, cloaks etc and spare linen and toiletries. There is a good sized drying room/boiler room with access from outside.
The gardens include a large lawned playing area, flower beds, shrubbery and trees.
