Ashfield Self Catering Holiday Cottages are on the scenic North York Moors, situated in the North Yorkshire National Park and close to Dalby Forest. The cottages are set in the traditional unspoilt village of Lockton, offering you the opportunity for that 'getaway from it all holiday'. You can listen to the birds singing while sitting in the garden, hear the stream train in the distance, enjoy one of many walks from your doorstep, or just simply relax and unwind.

These stone built cottages are set back from the village street, with off street parking for guests, and benefit from south facing gardens with patios. Ashfield Cottages have been awarded a VisitBritain 4 Star rating. They are maintained to a high standard, both for comfort and cleanliness and are very well equipped.
No 1 sleeps 4-5
No 1 Ashfield Cottage has an open pine staircase together with pine furnishings throughout, giving this cottage a warm and country feel. Downstairs there is a comfortable lounge overlooking the garden, kitchen/dining room that is fully fitted to a high standard, separate utility room, a large modern shower room incorporating a level walk in shower, washbasin, bidet and toilet. Upstairs there is a second toilet and washbasin, a spacious double and twin bedroom, both fitted with bespoke pine furniture made by local craftsmen.
No 2 sleeps 7-8
No 2 Ashfield Cottage is ideal for families or a group of friends. This spacious cottage has full central heating, a wood burning stove for colder evenings and is double glazed throughout, with original beamed ceilings, Yorkshire stone flags and a Rayburn range cooker in the kitchen/dining room, making this an idyllic retreat for your holiday.
Downstairs this cottage offers a spacious lounge, an open plan kitchen/dining room, garden room, utility room, twin bedroom and shower room. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, a double bedroom with its own cloakroom, a family bedroom and a single bedroom, also upstairs there is a fully fitted bathroom with an over bath shower and electric under floor heating.
No 3 sleeps 3-4
No 3 Ashfield Cottage is a traditional country cottage with beamed ceilings. Downstairs there is a spacious lounge/dining room which overlooks the south facing garden. The lounge has a feature fireplace with an electric wood burning effect stove; also downstairs there is a fully integrated kitchen and a fully fitted bathroom with an over bath shower. Upstairs there is a good sized double and single bedroom and a second toilet with a hand basin.
The cottages have full central heating and are double glazed throughout adding to your comfort. All fuel and linen are included in the price with the exception of logs for the wood-burning stove in Cottage No 2. Sorry we do not accept pets, or allow smoking in the cottages.
