| Thorpewood
Cottages are in Thorpe Market village (four miles
south of Cromer on the North Norfolk coast). There
are five holiday cottages converted from old farm
buildings in the 8-acre pasture and forest grounds
of the owner’s 16th century thatched farmhouse.
Within two miles are public houses, restaurants,
Gunton station and shops. Beaches at Cromer and
Mundesley are 4-5 miles. Additionally, there is
a short drive to the Broads and Cley bird sanctuary,
as well as National Trust properties at Blickling
and Felbrigg. Fishing, golf, leisure centres, historic
villages, craft centres, the Bure Valley railway,
theatres, cycling and Norwich are also nearby. Cottages
available for short breaks and full weeks.
Pinewood and
Thorpegate Cottages are 1-bedroom barn
conversions sleeping 2. Pinewood has an additional
sofa bed allowing it to sleep 4, and the bedroom
in Thorpegate can take an additional bed or cot
if required. All rooms have beamed and vaulted ceilings
plus wood floors and rugs in the living areas, well
equipped kitchens, central heating and private gardens.
The shower rooms are tiled with modern low level
suites, ceramic tiled floors, electric power showers
and shaver points. TV, video and CD/radio in lounge.
Tanglewood is a 2-bedroom cottage converted
from a brick and flint barn. It has one double bedroom
and one twin, and the lounge has an additional sofa
bed if required. The kitchen includes a dishwasher,
and the bathroom has a bath with electric power
shower over. Private garden with patio furniture
and BBQ. Gas central heating. TV, video and CD/radio
in lounge.
Briarwood and Felgate are newly
completed 2-bedroom barn conversions. Both have
one double bedroom and one twin, plus an additional
sofa bed in the lounge if required. The kitchen
includes a dishwasher, and the bathroom has a bath
with shower over. Each has a private patio area
with patio furniture and BBQ. TV, DVD and CD/radio
in lounge.
