Heacham
Oakhill
Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the outskirts of the village, this lovely individual chalet-style house offers very comfortable accommodation in a tranquil setting with fenced garden - water feature directly behind. Built and designed by Scanda-Huis of Sweden, the detached house has high specifications with internal pine panelling and triple glazed windows throughout. A long gravelled driveway opens up onto ample parking/turning space. Beyond the lawned gardens there is an acre of woodland extending onto farmland.
The spacious accommodation caters easily for 8 + baby, has night storage electric panel heating, wooden flooring and carpeting throughout. There is a ground floor bedroom and bathroom making the house ideal for a family who may have elderly or disabled relatives. A ramp also runs up to the front entrance (this also has a small step).
The village centre is just a minute's drive with its local shops, pubs and Post Office and the beach is about a mile and a half away. The infamous Lavender Fields are literally a minute's walk away. The village is also well placed for King's Lynn, with a regular bus route to Hunstanton and King’s Lynn via other villages.
Guests Comments; Miss D. from Darlington who is disabled (4-11.9.2010): 'We had a fantastic holiday with the best accommodation I have ever stayed in! Booking again for next year, maybe twice! The garden is superb - we saw deer, rabbits, squirrels, not to mention chickens and ducks that passed through. Highly recommended!
