Farm Cottages
These two quiet semi-detached cottages make a comfortable,
inexpensive base for discovering much of Norfolk.
Just a few yards from the owner’s house they
are nevertheless private, and overlook fields.
Everything is done to a very high standard, and
there is a choice of feather/down or more conventional
duvets, or even sheets and blankets. Each cottage
is a mirror image of the other but Cottage No 1
has a king sized bed and Cottage No 2 has zip-link
twins which can make a lovely 6 ft double.
Each also has a sofa-bed in the uncluttered, maple-floored
sitting room. Kitchens are excellent, and the quietness
of the location is a tonic. Children will find that
their own pets are welcome. There’s a paddock
for a visiting horse or pony. Linen and towels are
included. Cost: about £200 to £395.
A golf course/country club is just five minutes
away.
