East
Rudham, near Fakenham
18 The Green

Writes Bryn Frank: 'We've stayed in many holiday cottages
in Norfolk, but especially enjoyed a few days in July
2007 in this absolutely pristine, neat, clean, tidy and
well equipped property'.
The demand for Norfolk holiday cottages is of course
highest when they are close to the coast. East Rudham
is only half an hour from, say, Wells-next-the Sea or
Hunstanton but also well placed for the deeply rural hinterland.
It's also just 15 minutes' drive from pleasant Fakenham.
(Says Bryn Frank: 'We had friends staying near South Raynham,
a delightful 20 minute bike ride from the cottage.')
Though it's close to the A148 King's Lynn to Cromer road
the cottage is actually set well back from that across
East Rudham's village green.
Like many a Norfolk holiday cottage No 18 and the adjacent
No 17 (they're semi-detached) are recent conversions,
very well fitted and kitted out. Specifically, they have
three smallish (double) bedrooms, a bathroom with bath
and over-bath shower, and central heating. Two dogs per
cottage are welcome, and there's ample parking. |
