East
Rudham, near Fakenham
17 The Green

Holiday cottages in Norfolk of any character are spread
fairly evenly over the county. Of course, what's most
sought-after are cottages on the Norfolk coast, but there's
a nice scattering of cottages - often places of great
character - inland.
As with No 18, which is adjacent, 17 The Green at East
Rudham is only half an hour from the coast but is also
well placed for deeply rural inland Norfolk. It's also
just 15 minutes' drive from pleasant Fakenham. Though
it's close to the A148 King's Lynn to Cromer road - much
less busy than you might think - the cottage is actually
set well back from that across the village green.
Like many a Norfolk holiday cottage No 17 and the adjacent
No 18 (they're semi-detached) are recent conversions,
very well fitted and kitted out. Specifically, they have
three smallish (double) bedrooms, a bathroom with bath
and over-bath shower, and central heating. Two dogs per
cottage are welcome, and there's ample parking. |
