Apartments in Munich
D'Alex Havana
For a longer stay in Munich, consider a self-catering apartment.
Readers of The Good Holiday Cottage Guide and visitors to this
website have recommended two. One is the D'Alex Havana apartment
in a sympathetically restored 100-year old building on Prinzregentenplatz.
Reports refer to ‘considerable comfort and an excellent
location in the city centre’. Officially sleeping up to
6, that does entail 2 in bunk beds. Bicycles are provided: a great
way, for example, to explore Munich’s marvellous ‘Englischer
Garten’, which is a bit like London's Hyde Park and ?
Cost:
about €413 - €693 per week

Viktorias
Readers of The Good Holiday Cottage Guide have also stayed in
and liked a studio-style apartment called Viktorias, on the ground
floor of a smart block. Just seven minutes' on foot from the main
railway station, close to a metro and bus stop, it's about twelve
minutes' walk from Karlsplatz: the historic heart of the city.
There's a good-sized sitting room, and the apartment is well equipped
throughout. Sleeps '2 plus 2'.
