Converted from a stone barn on a family-run stud farm in the North York Moors National Park. These four mews cottages are very competitively priced, compact, two-bedroomed properties with large double-glazed windows overlooking their own terrace garden and the orchard beyond. Each cottage has a TV/video and hair dryer, and the kitchen areas have a full four-ring cooker, microwave oven, large fridge and generous cupboard space. Cottages Three and Four also have washer-dryer machines.
Each cottage has a heated shower room downstairs and a 3kw storage heater. All the cottages are heated throughout autumn, winter, and spring, whether occupied or not, so everything is reliably warm for your arrival - a good bet for a short break 'out of season'. The two bedrooms have between two and four beds, each with an electric blanket.
Writes Bryn Frank, of The Good Holiday Cottage Guide
: 'These neat and practical cottages underline the flexibility here at Farsyde. They are kept warm and cosy, making short breaks out of the main season a bargain'.
