This delightful semi-detached period cottage is in the charming village of Horning, at the heart of the Norfolk Broads. It is just yards from the river.
Offering high quality four star accommodation for four (plus baby), in a picturesque setting with fantastic views over the River Bure and Horning Sailing Club. The stable door in the kitchen gives access to the small walled courtyard at the rear of the property, suitable for a BBQ (supplied). But over the road is a fantastic green that leads down to the water's edge, and this is probably the best place to enjoy the outdoor space around the cottage.
The ground floor has an entrance lobby, a lounge with widescreen TV and Freeview, a superb kitchen/diner, and a bathroom with power shower above the bath. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms (one with twin beds). As is the case with most Victorian cottages, the stairs are quite steep, so a stairgate is provided free of charge. A cot and high chair are also available free of charge.
All heating, electricity, bedlinen (duvets), towels and parking for one car (possibly also a small boat) are included. Local inns, shops, restaurants and the village green are a few minutes' walk. Day boats can be hired in the village. The leisure centre with an indoor pool is a mile away. In addition, short breaks are available all year.
