This is a small terraced cottage in the village of Aldbrough, in the Vale of Holderness. Surrounded by countryside, it is only a mile from the sea and a beach sheltered at low tide. There are open fields for walking and the cottage has two adult bicycles for your use.
Fuel for the open fire is plentiful and water and electricity are inclusive. In the well maintained garden, safe for children (it has a covered pond), you will find a patio complete with a barbecue and furniture.
Local shops, including an excellent fish and chip shop, are only a short walk away. Eating out is possible also in one of the pubs serving traditional 'home cooked' food. For the more energetic there is also a sports hall. Excursions are available through a local coach operator, and the historic town of Beverley is not far away.
The cottage has the usual services you would expect, but also has the unusual feature of a recording studio complete with experienced engineer, so if you are musicians and wish to make a cd of your music you can book to use this at a rate of £35 an hour. What a rare delight to take home with you!
