High Mill House has unique and unrivalled views of the scenic North Yorkshire Moors Railway and is situated below Pickering Castle. It is one of two self-catering properties in Pickering that will appeal immensely to 'railway buffs' The other is The Limes Cottage

The scenic NYMR is one of the country’s finest preservation railways. With views of the railway from all rooms in High Mill House as the train passes and then changes ends, it’s a gem for any train enthusiast. For those with no interest, it’s a five minute interruption; or take advantage of the low season.
