Dalmonds Barn Holiday Cottages

Hertfordshire holiday cottages are few and far between, so any are 'interesting', but it so happens that these are quite excellent. They are so rural that you could hardly believe Dalmonds Farm (and Barns) are just a few minutes' drive from the busy county town of Hertford, and Hoddesdon. On a working farm (which visitors love) there are four cottages, all of them comfortable and inviting. We have family who've stayed twice and will book again, so can strongly recommend them for group bookings.'

In a conservation area, surrounded by fields and woodland, yet only 35 minutes from Central London by fast train, this is an excellent place to stay for walking and bird watching, and if you want to spend some time in London. Guests are able to relax in the grounds and make use of the barbecue. The barns are within easy reach of Stanstead, Luton, and Heathrow airports.

Specifically, old barns have been thoughtfully converted retaining many original features. Comfortable living rooms with a television and video. Each kitchen area has a dishwasher, washer/drier, microwave and fridge/freezer. The spacious and attractive bedrooms, with a choice of twin or double beds, have been designed for comfort and cater for individuals and families alike. Travel cots are also available on request.

There is plenty of under-cover parking available, and a shared patio and barbeque area.
