In a tranquil rural setting on the banks of the River Thames, at the end of a long private drive, the four Old Mill Cottages are on a working sheep farm. Four and a half miles south of Cirencester, 'capital of the Cotswolds', they are surrounded by 100 acres of farmland with splendid views and footpaths that include the recently created Thames footpath, leading along the River Thames and joining up to the Cotswold Water Park and local villages. The cottages are within easy reach of several of the most famous Cotswold villages, as well as Bath, Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxford and Stonehenge.
Overlooking the River Thames and open fields, Granary Cottage has wonderful views. French windows open from the sitting room on to the balcony, where there are chairs and a table. What a nice place to have your breakfast, to watch the wildlife on the river and enjoy the scenery.
The ground floor is open plan, with original beams and stone walls. The sitting room has a TV and DVD player. The fitted kitchen contains a fridge, a microwave and electric cookers. Upstairs is a spacious bedroom with a 5′ double bed, walk in wardrobe and connecting door to a well appointed bathroom with over-bath shower point. A cot is also available.
