Wishbone Cottage

Wishbone is a period Cotswold stone cottage in a row of terraced limestone properties on Milton Street in the pretty market town of Fairford, which is situated in the beautiful Coln Valley and the Cotswold Water Park. The cottage can sleep 4/5.

The holiday cottage has recently undergone complete restoration, retaining the essence of a Cotswold cottage blended with modern colour and current technology in a contemporary style.

Wishbone is comfortably furnished and equipped to a high standard. It provides guests with an elegant relaxing stay.

As a holiday cottage Wishbone is unique, and we're confident our guests will enjoy using the property. Our guests are able to walk into the town to shop and eat and join the many walks in and around Fairford. You could easily leave your car keys behind for the duration of your stay!

Details of the Cottage:

The front door opens into the sitting room which has exposed stone walls, wooden floor and a large open fireplace with a woodburning stove, sofa bed. The bespoke fitted kitchen has solid oak worktops, a pine farmhouse table and chairs, and original flagstone floor.

Upstairs the floors are covered with coir flooring throughout. The bathroom is modern with designer fittings and travertine tiles. There are lots of fluffy towels and endless hot water. The first bedroom has a comfortable 5ft pine bed dressed with soft quilt, pillows and lovely white linen. The second bedroom provides another double bed in a pretty room with exposed stone walls and beams. There is a designer sofa bed which can provide an extra bed for the 5th person or make the room into a twin room, giving you flexible accommodation.

At the back of the cottage is a private cottage garden with views to the Church. A separate Summerhouse is ideal for summer reading and relaxing on the day bed.

We always provide our guests with a welcome basket of food, along with essential supplies including tea and proper coffee!
