| The cottage with a 100 mile view. Uniquely positioned high on the Cotswold escarpment overlooking Regency Cheltenham, the Old Dairy at Slades Farm boasts one of the ten best views in England. Walks start at the front door on Nottingham Hill, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, within a quarter of a mile is 1000ft. high Cleeve Hill with its golf course and ancient earthworks. Set in its own four acres of unspoiled meadowland, the Old Dairy is a carefully restored stone-built cottage dating from the early 19th century, which has been remodelled internally by the owners to the highest specifications. Its heart is a 30 feet long, vaulted, oak-floored sitting room with a gallery and wood burning stove.
Accommodation: one en-suite double bedroom, two twin bedrooms downstairs and bathroom upstairs, fully equipped kitchen/breakfast room, large sitting room with dining area, entrance hall/boot room. Sleeps 6 - 8.
Cost: from £350 to £750 a week. Winter short breaks. Central heating. Welcome basket. Linen/towels included. Regret no pets. Open all year. Plenty of parking and own drive. Also available is a cot, playpen, high chair and Z-beds on request.
