Flagstaff House was once the home of Captain Woodget, Master of the Cutty Sark, and is situated in a prime position at Burnham Overy Staithe. Just outside your door is the sandy creek, a salt water inlet running in from the sea. At low tide the shallow waters are perfect for paddling and at high tide the creek provides perfect sailing waters.
This west wing of the substantial house sleeps six, with one super king-size double bedroom and one bunk room for two. Downstairs is a twin bedroom. There is a separate w.c. and a further w.c. in the bath/shower room upstairs.
The first floor sitting room has spectacular views across the North Norfolk landscape. The open plan kitchen/dining area is light and airy and well equipped with dishwasher, freezer, fridge, microwave, and cooker. The dining table seats eight people.
There is a shared outside laundry room that comes complete with washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and sink
In the grounds of Flagstaff House are the charming Flagstaff Cottage and Boathouse, and large family groups might want to combine Flagstaff House East with West. The East and West wings have access to a shared garden.
