Bainbridge is an attractive village about four miles from the bustling market town of Hawes, in Wensleydale. Famous for the stocks on the village green, it has a good pub, a tearoom and a well stocked village shop and Post Office. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, Bainbridge is an ideal base for walking or touring.
Fell View Cottage is a lovely, spacious old stone cottage full of Dales charm and character, set back behind the cobbles overlooking the village green and with extensive views to the fields and fells beyond.
Downstairs is a comfortable sitting room with open fireplace and a pleasant dining room. The pine kitchen has an oil-fired Aga and there is a utility room and cloakroom with washbasin and WC. There is a payphone.
The lovely wide stone staircase with original banisters leads to the three bedrooms and a pretty Victorian bathroom with roll-top bath and separate shower. Two of the bedrooms have a double bed, one with an ensuite shower room, and the third is a single room.
There is a small walled garden with a lawn and patio/barbecue area, and parking for two cars.
