Cottages in Suffolk tend to be much used by the owners themselves, and are comfortable and visitor-friendly. Self catering in Suffolk can mean being deeply rural but not isolated. We think of cottages in Woodbridge, Framlingham, Tunstall, Butley. To the west, some of our own favourite Suffolk holiday cottages are, typically, in villages and small towns such as Lavenham, Kersey, Long Melford and Hadleigh.
