Twitchill Farm Cottages
Four charming self-catering cottages in the Peak District National Park with spectacular views over the Hope Valley. Our stone built holiday cottages are located 12 miles west of Sheffield just outside the delightful village of Hope.
There is an indoor heated swimming pool next door to the main residence which is available for the use of guests and open all year round.
Well situated for walking and visiting Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Buxton Spa and the famous Blue John Caverns in nearby Castleton.
All the cottages offer a high level of comfort, are centrally heated and provided with bed linen, towels, crockery, fridge freezer, TV, video and radio cassette, microwave oven and electric cooker. Cots and high chairs are available on request. There is a shared utility room with a washing machine, tumble drier and additional freezer space for Ash and Birch Cottages. Boots and waterproofs can be stored and dried in here if required.
Ash Cottage is a charming three storey cottage which sleeps up to eight people. Birch Cottage is essentially the same and sleeps up to nine people. Both of these cottages can be let together to accommodate 16 people in eight bedrooms.
Chestnut Cottage is a spacious two bedroom cottage which sleeps two to six persons. Elm Cottage is also a pretty two bedroom cottage with additiional bed-settee in the lounge which can accommodate another two if required.
The cottages are open all year round, normally for week-long holidays in the summer and for weekend and midweek breaks outside the main holiday season. The four cottages in total can sleep up to 26 people and are therefore ideal for large groups. We regret that we cannot accommodate dogs or other pets.
