After nearly 30 years of building up one of the Lake District's most successful family-owned holiday cottage firms, husband and wife Anne and Ian Price have handed over the reins and sold the business to two long-time customers - Mervyn and Vivien Bass.
Based in Elterwater, Wheelwrights specialises in letting holiday cottages within five miles of the Langdale Valley and now has almost 70 holiday homes on its books.
The new owners are determined to run Wheelwrights with its established ethos of personal service, local knowledge and family spirit.
