Underley Grange offers luxurious self-catering accommodation within easy distance of the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Park. This Grade II Listed country house has recently been refurbished to the highest standard and has a wonderful family feel about it.
Elegantly furnished, there are also modern touches such as slate work surfaces, wireless internet connection, digital flat screen televisions with DVD players, music systems and a hot tub in the garden.
Three spacious sitting rooms, each with open fire and flatscreen television, provide ample space to sit back, relax, and enjoy the good life. The dining room can comfortably seat 16 people. With its wrought iron candlesticks and damask tablecloths, it gives a feeling of a bygone age. The traditional country house kitchen features a four oven Aga, as well as a gas hob and electric cooker. The large breakfast area provides an alternative place to dine.
With 9 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms, there is plenty of choice for all the family. Choose from the grandeur of the four-poster bedroom, with its en-suite bathroom, or the wonderfully light blue bedroom, with its stunning views of The Yorkshire Dales. Underley Grange also benefits from a twin bedroom, with en-suite shower room on the ground floor.
The outdoor heated swimming pool (summer only) provides a place to relax on a warm summer's afternoon. There is also a hot tub in the enclosed garden, for those of you who would rather lay back and relax. The games room, complete with full sized snooker table, offers alternative entertainment for both old and young. Separate laundry room and drying room. Garage for up to four cars.
