| Near Patterdale, Elm How (sleeps 8) and Cruck Barn (sleeps 2) lie in the Grisedale valley, and are quiet with no traffic, plenty of parking and ideally placed for access to Helvellyn and surrounding hills. Eagle Cottage, near Glenridding, is a stone-built, self catering holiday cottage with wood burning stove and wireless broadband, (sleeps 4).
At Helm Farm, near Windermere, are four comfortable self catering apartments sleeping from 2-5. Easy access to Windermere, but in a very quiet location with footpaths from the door. Wood fires in three of the four apartments and wireless broadband included.
