These award-winning holiday cottages are situated at the foot of the highest peak of the Pennines in an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. The four cottages were created from ancient sandstone barns and retain many original features.
This is a superb base for walking, cycling, fishing and enjoying panoramic views across the Eden Valley to the Lake District fells beyond.
The Haybarn sleeps 6/8 + cot. This spacious conversion boasts some magnificent features including a large sit-in fireplace with log burning stove. A double staircase leads to the minstrels gallery which overlooks a large conservatory opening on to a south facing patio with extensive gardens beyond. Open plan lounge and farmhouse style kitchen with exposed beams and stonework. Two bathrooms upstairs plus three bedrooms.
Shearers Cottage sleeps 4 + cot. This cottage has exposed beams and stonework, and a stone fireplace with log burning stove. Open plan kitchen. South facing patio with gardens beyond, plus private garden to the side. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. One well behaved dog welcome.
Stables Cottage sleeps 4 + cot. This two storey conversion has a wealth of exposed beams and stonework. Oak linteled fireplace with log burning stove. Open plan kitchen and lounge opening on to south facing patio and gardens. Two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs.
Detached Beck Cottage sleeps 2 and is set apart from the other cottages beside a tumbling beck in its own wildlife garden. This single storey conversion has beams and exposed stonework, an arched stone fireplace with wood burning stove, open plan kitchen, double bedroom and bathroom.
All cottages have dishwasher, microwave oven, gas hob and electric oven, TV and radio, gas central heating and double glazing. Gas and electricity is included in the price, also logs on a saw-your-own basis. Bed linen is provided, towels can be hired. Communal utility room with chest freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Cots and highchairs available. Patio furniture and barbecues supplied.
