 We are a family-run business offering a wide range of self-catering accommodation including cottages, flats and houses. All are within the National Park including Ambleside, Grasmere, Keswick, Patterdale, the Langdale Valley, Bowness-on-Windermere, Coniston and Hawkshead. The properties range from ETC Two to Five Stars, and all our Lakeland properties include free leisure club membership. Most are open all year round.
 Huntingstile South is a substantial country property formerly in the Wordsworth family. It is furnished to a high standard and offers fine views of Grasmere Lake from its principal rooms, sleeps 8.
Just a short stroll from Grasmere Village is Goody Bridge Cottage, a cosy single storeyed cottage with its own garden, sleeps 2. A few yards away, adjacent to the owner's house, is Goody Bridge Barn, a sympathetic conversion of a 300 year old building, with country views, sleeps 4.
 The Bield at Little Langdale is thought to date from 1610. It has a big family kitchen, comfortable living room with open fire and a large natural garden, sleeps 10.
Bakestones Cottage, in Ambleside, is a characterful property with exposed beams, oak lintels and a delightful little balcony off the sitting room, sleeps 4.
 Exclusively let and managed by Heart of the Lakes, Underscar near Keswick offers a small number of luxury holiday homes, sleeping 2 up to 8, in the grounds of an Italianate mansion. Heart of the Lakes for Underscar was awarded the England for Excellence Award 2002 for Self Catering Holiday of the Year.
