This cosy Lake District holiday cottage is fully furnished, sleeping up to four and is ideal for two couples sharing.

Glebe Cottage is within 200 yards of a shop, church, pub and two cafes, with rural footpaths from the doorstep, and the open northern Lake District fells in easy walking distance. The self-contained four star holiday cottage, part of The Old Rectory, is located in the centre of unspoilt Caldbeck village. The Cumbrian Way passes through the village.

There's a large sitting room with comfy sofas, chairs, woodburning stove, television, dvd player, cd/radio player with i-pod dock; spacious kitchen with an Aga, electric hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, table and chairs.

Upstairs, a large twin bedroom with its own bathroom. Downstairs, a bedroom with king-size bed and ensuite bathroom. Both bedrooms have digital radios and hairdryers. Separate downstairs lavatory and shower room. Utility room. Small walled paved garden with table and chairs, lock-up shed for bicycles and a charcoal BBQ.

Internet is provided free through our wi-fi connection. Full oil central heating, fuel for the woodburner, charcoal for the BBQ, hot water and electricity, sheets and towels are provided.

Parking is in the grounds of The Old Rectory. The cottage is non-smoking. Dogs are welcome downstairs, if they don’t upset George, the Old Rectory cat.
