Bush Cottage is a cosy two bedroom terraced cottage, situated in the quiet village of Tallentire, near Cockermouth, on the North Western edge of the Lake District National Park.
Originally a farm workers cottage, dating back to the 1850s, it has recently been refurbished to provide well appointed, modern and comfortable accommodation, although it retains original features. Keswick, on the shores of Derwentwater, is only 15 miles away, and the historic border city of Carlisle is 20 miles. Penrith and Whitehaven are all within easy reach.
Bush Cottage is rented on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday, but short breaks are also available. Prices are from £140 for short breaks to £450 for a week in high season.
The property is maintained by the owner, and is rated "4 star self catering" by Visit Britain. The cottage is no smoking, and no pets are allowed.
