Creekside and Seaways form part of the 200 year old building known as Gullrock. Originally built as a 'Pilchard Palace' for processing fish, it nestles at the foot of the valley in this bygone fishing hamlet. The beach, just 100 yards from Gullrock, is ideal for safe bathing. It is sandy at low tide, with many interesting rock pools to explore.
Entered from the lane via five slate steps into the hallway, Creekside sleeps six in 1 double, 1 twin and 2 single bedrooms, all on one floor. As this arm of Gullrock is built into the slope of the hill, windows on the lane side are just above ground level, whilst windows on the other side overlook the courtyard from first storey height, with wonderful views.
Creekside has been tastefully decorated and furnished, and combines modern standards with good old fashioned comforts. This part of Gullrock was the earliest to be used as living accommodation, and though some of the ceilings and doorways are low it is not only historic, but cosy and comfortable.
The cottage is fully-equipped and features a full HD TV with Freeview HD recorder and Blu-Ray, a computer with HD monitor and broadband internet, a dishwasher and washing machine, night storage heating and parking.
Pets with responsible owners are welcome.
