Our six cottages are superbly situated, very close to the beautiful valley of Dovedale in a lovely part of the Peak District National Park, between the highly acclaimed village of Hartington and its smaller neighbour, Biggin-by-Hartington.
Cotterill Farm is mainly surrounded by a nature reserve through which a footpath leads on its way down to the River Dove.
We are extremely well placed for most of the major tourist attractions of the area, such as Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Castleton Caverns, the Dove and Manifold Valleys, plus the attractive local towns of Buxton, Ashbourne, Bakewell and Leek. There is excellent walking and cycling from the doorstep. Just 80 yards from the end of our drive is a superb and well surfaced bridleway, with excellent views, which can be used for walking over to the honeypot village of Hartington, (can be walked in ordinary shoes and takes just 20 minutes).
Sorry, no dogs.
