A rare example of a sympathetically converted 18th century cottage. In a half acre garden with mature trees and croquet lawn, the cottage has fine farmland views. It is well planned, very comfortable and a highly desirable holiday base within easy reach of London.
Much of the furniture is antique - even the large bathroom has Victorian fittings. There is a large open fireplace in the sitting room, a well appointed kitchen/diner and a conservatory.
Cost: £500 to £900. Short breaks 75% of weekly rate. Linen and towels included. Plentiful supply of logs and coal.
