Caledon Estate lies on the border between counties Tyrone and Armagh in the beautiful and lush countryside of Northern Ireland. The town of Caledon is a designated conservation area and is located at the eastern edge of the scenic Clogher Valley and on the banks of the Blackwater river. Our self-catering holiday cottages were once the homes of estate workers, and combine traditional cut stone exteriors, mullioned windows and leaded glass with modern standards of comfort and facilities.
Although a quiet rural area, Caledon is easily accessible from the airport and ferry terminals travelling from Belfast in Northern Ireland or Dublin in the Republic of Ireland, and is a great base for an activity packed family holiday or relaxing country break. Caledon Cottages are near to lots of fantastic activities, such as historic houses, parks, arts and crafts, coarse fishing and angling, nature walks, a Heritage Trail, and Armagh, the ecclesiastical capital of Ireland, with lots of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as the beautiful St Patrick's Cathedral.
Caledon Cottages include Robertson's and Beattie's Cottages (each sleeping 2), and Goose Cottage with four bedrooms, sleeping 8. All three cottages have modern appliances and fittings, including dishwashers, washing machines, microwaves, satellite TV, DVD players, and en-suite bathrooms. Goose Cottage has an open fire and a separate storage space for outdoor gear, boots, etc.
Towels and linen provided. Each cottage has a terrace/balcony and BBQ facilities. Parking spaces.
