Close to the Scottish Borders, north of the Cheviot Hills, but just inside Northumberland, this is a warm, cosy, welcoming and well cared for holiday cottage. The Victorian stone cottage is situated in tranquil countryside - though it doesn't feel uncomfortably remote - and makes an ideal base for outdoor activities such as fishing, horse riding, birdwatching, walking and cycling.
Used by the owners from time to time, the cottage has a good-sized sitting room with log fire and charming rural views, TV/DVD/Sky and radio, well equipped kitchen/diner with oven, hob, microwave and washing machine, two bedrooms (twin and double), bathroom with electric shower. There is oil central heating, enclosed lawned gardens to the side and rear with furniture, and private parking.
The location is good for touring, with the Cheviot Hills nearby and Northumberland's 'Heritage Coastline' about half an hour away.
Linen, fuel and electricity included.
