Visitors have described our four cottages as 'quiet, reasonably priced and very conveniently situated'. Converted from the original stone-built farm buildings which formed the old farm steading, they vary in size and character: Bluebell and Farne each sleep four, while Lindisfarne and St. Abbs can accommodate up to six. Each cottage is fully equipped and has a picnic table and chairs for dining outdoors.
We're on the edge of the famous and attractive village of Belford, an important coaching stop in the 18th and early 19th century, with fine dining and good pub food in the historic Blue Bell Hotel - and just a pleasant short drive from one of the most beautiful coastlines in the whole of England.
Handy for the A1, but tucked away well off and well out of earshot of it, Belford is a thriving community, and there are a number of events which have taken place here in the past or which have become regular attractions - fireworks at New Year, Christmas Fair, Belford Carnival, food markets, etc. Details of events are displayed on the Belford Village web page - www.belfordnorthumberland.co.uk - as well as links to local facilities and attractions.
Pets by arrangement only - an additional charge of £20 per week is payable. Short breaks of 2-4 nights priced dependent on occupancy and duration of stay. Stays of 5 or 6 nights priced as a week.
